Manifest Destiny by Kentucky’s Rick Robinson Named Top Indie Book for 2010

(Los Angeles, CA) – Rick Robinson’s Manifest Destiny was named the Best Independent Book in America in the 2010 DIY Book Festival which honors independent works of merit.
According to the press release issued by the festival, “Robinson’s third novel sees the worlds of politics and law collide in a high-tension drama of international intrigue. The authors 30 years of political and legal experience is evidence throughout the page-turning novel. Combined with Robinsons savvy promotion and use of social media, the work captured the imagination of the judges for the ninth annual competition.”
Robinson will be honored as 2010 Author of the Year and his publisher, Headline Books, as Publisher of the Year at a ceremony on Friday, March 4 at the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood, CA.
