Hearts were all aflutter in the state of Pennsylvania as the “Health Scare Rickety Road Show” finally skulked out of Washington and ambled out to where the victims of the “plan” live. Fear not as this was a sufficiently scrubbed get-together, not unlike the Obama campaign events where women in burkas were hustled off of the stage before the flashbulbs popped. Obama showed up at Arcadia University (Who? Where?) after thirteen months of failing to convince his own party that this is a really great “plan.” Nice of him to finally get out of the House. And the Senate too for that matter.
The Associated Press was all agog over the humorous homilies being read from totalitarian teleprompters by the sanguine socialist. Yahoo news (Obama pitches health plan in spirited appearance) called the fascist freak show a “spirited, shirt sleeved appeal” and they said that it “stirred memories of his campaign for the White House.” No this wasn’t a “town hall” type of scenario, Obama isn’t in the mood to hear from the multiple millions of people who fervently disagree with his Democratic Death Panels. The only thing being “stirred” here was the Bolshevik bouillabaisse of buncombe and blather. Obama was talking to “students” who have never paid any taxes and only stand to benefit from this “plan.” That was about as brave a maneuver as Oprah talking to a group of fellow fatties about Ring Dings, Yodels and Ho-Ho’s.

Today, the Marxist mountebank placed the icing upon the collectivist cake as he put on yet another sophomoric show for the moronic media. In “Obama seeks to push healthcare to final vote” (Reuters) we read that Obama was “flanked by white-coated doctors and nurses.” I am guessing that they had conveniently stowed their butterfly nets prior to taking the stage as the Obama insanity has reached a fever pitch.
Obama said, “it is time to pass” his healthcare overhaul. This will be the political equivalent of “passing” a gallstone the size of a basketball for the liberals, and it will be the economic same for the middle class. The method matters not to Obama, he is just concerned with what the “method” is being called. He said that it was absolutely all right to use “only a slim Democratic majority in Congress if necessary.” This is called “reconciliation” once formerly used to trim budget deficits, with the Obama liberal logic, it is now going to be used to DOUBLE the already enormous Obama deficit. The destructive “deficits” relative to this fascist fiasco are just the tip of the iceberg.

Not to be outdone by recent performances, the liberals wheeled out their vituperative virago for another go at the fallacies and the fabrications. Nancy Pelosi, the Marxist Medusa, took on not only CNN’s “State of the Union,” but she took a whack at ABC’s “This Week.” The results were the same. They are in a progressive panic.
We read of the hilarious humor surrounding Pelosi’s prattling over at CNN’s “State of the Union” in “Pelosi: GOP has had its day; confident Dems can come together.” (thehill dot com) The title reminds me of an old proverb, “Confidence is the food of the wise and the liquor of the fool.” The fascist fools are trying to put on airs, but it just isn’t playing anywhere.
Pelosi said that “the Republicans have left their mark on the healthcare bill and should accept that the bill will go forward.” OK, then go “move it forward,” what are you waiting for? “They’ve had plenty of opportunity to make their voices heard.” Maybe the Bolshevik battle ax should turn up the hearing aide as those “voices” are not only those of the Republicans, they are the “voices” of millions of Americans who have had it with the “audacity of hope.”

Will healthcare reform get through Congress?
By LARRY WILKE
The news surrounding the Obama health scare “summit” isn’t all that promising for the liberals which means that it is very promising for the tax paying victims of yet another of the endless Obama wealth redistribution plans. In what appears to be a rare “bipartisan” agreement, both sides feel that “Obama’s much touted televised summit has virtually no chance of breaking the political logjam.” Therefore, it is full steam ahead as Obama wants nothing more than to save either one of his two faces.
In “Dems, GOP: Summit will not break logjam on health,” (apnews myway) we read that the “Democrats will be forced to find a way to pass an overhaul on their own or face a huge political defeat.” If the Democrats “pass an overhaul” through chicanery or otherwise, they will be resoundingly defeated in November at the mid term election. Those fighting for their seats understand this, and they have been trying to subtly remind Obama of this fact for quite some time. The REAL problem lies (literally) with the ego of their Dear Leader because the “huge political defeat” actually belongs to “Mr. Oh-for-Five,” but he would prefer to see hundreds of his fellow travelers thrown out of office rather than to admit that he was even for one moment WRONG. I for one am glad to see that he steadfastly refuses to take the medicines prescribed to him which would overcome his megalomania.

This week the recent Obama epiphany known as the “spirit of bi-partisanship” reared its unattractive head of serpents as his hilarious health scare scam has been “modified” and it is now called “Hope-a-Dope.” (Liberal language softener 1.0 primer: When “global warming” failed, try climate change.”) When the liberals, who used to be enabled by the flatulence of “Hope and Change,” start walking around with olive branches in their hand, you know that it is something that they HAVE to do and as with every maneuver that is carefully choreographed by the leftists, it’s all for effect.

You can’t beat good political drama. The Nuremberg rallies with all those glistening uniforms and snappy torchlight marches. The May Day Parades with the Soviet gerontocracy standing on Lenin’s tomb smiling at the grandchildren of the people they tortured riding on their shiny tanks and missile launchers. Even little North Korea stages some pretty impressive mass birthday parties for the Glorious Midget. We may disagree with everything these totalitarian nightmare regimes stand for. We may abhor their gangster tactics and hellish fantasies about conquering the world but you have to give them credit for knowing how to wow the crowd. They know how to stage a scene and then walk on as the Luke Skywalker of megalomania, wave to the great unwashed return to their castle of doom and continue living life large like Dr. No or in Kim Jong-II’ s case Mini-Me.
The Denver acceptance speech with its Styrofoam Acropolis gave us a hint of the political theater to come. The Victory speech to the teaming masses in Grant Park let us know the curtain was rising. Like the Perils of Pauline in a serial of sequels the suspense continues in the never-ending crisis. We must have health care and we must have it now! We’re so far in debt we need to spend a massive amount quickly or we’ll go bankrupt. This is an emergency; there’s no time to read the bill; hurry up and vote. We need this now even though it won’t be implemented until after the next presidential election. Hurry up vote!

I have been a law-abiding citizen all my life. I’ve always played by the rules. That is about to change. The early morning passage today of the Senate health care bill requires every American to purchase health insurance. I refuse. I will not abide by this bill if it is passed into law. And if the government levies a fine, I will not pay it. I’ve had enough.
There comes a time when a line in the sand must be drawn. I’ve just drawn mine. I’ve listened to the outright lies our politicians have spouted in order to pass this legislation, which, by the way, has nothing to do with health care and everything to do with government control.
Democrats declared this bill was deficit neutral. Not so, says the Congressional Budget Office. Alas, this wasn’t reported until minutes after the bill passed the Senate.

Santa came early on Christmas Eve 2009 for the embattled Democrats of the Senate who passed the Obama Healthcare bill, as expected.
Being forced to buy healthcare by the U.S. government will hardly be seen as a gift from Santa by the citizens of this country, and even now, some Republicans are planning to test the constitutionality of the bill.
Special sweetheart deals for Florida and Connecticut are overshadowed by what may be the most expensive and openly public bribe in U.S. history for the state of Nebraska. The Cornhuskers are mostly insulted by Sen. Nelson’s last minute deal to circumvent paying some 100 million dollars a year to help foot the costs of the bill, but even the Governor of that state, Dave Heineman, says Nebraskans don’t want this kind of exclusion.
Republicans have vowed to fight on in both the last bit of work to reconcile the House and Senate differences in the bill and more importantly with legal challenges and actions intended to question the constitutionality of the bill. Representatives from both the House and Senate have been getting onboard the idea of testing the bills legality; the latest among them is Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev., who on Tuesday Dec 22, 2009 renewed the call to others who are doubtful, to check the constitutionality of the bill.

Watching a recent townhall meeting I heard a gal ask “why not leave these issues up to the states?” Well, I’ll tell you the answer that President Obama will NEVER admit: The failing liberal states that have tried socialism (or will try) will lose their revenue source needed to pay for it. Those revenue sources will move…to conservative states. And the conservative, small-government states will thrive. This is a bad thing for liberals.

I just had an epiphany. I KNOW HOW TO FIX HEALTHCARE! Every doctor in America today needs to stop accepting insurance payments and instead, force patients to get reimbursed through their insurance companies. THAT WOULD SOLVE ALL OF THE PROBLEMS THAT WE HAVE IN OUR HEALTHCARE DELIVERY SYSTEM TODAY. And we wouldn’t have to change a thing.
The real way to fix the problems of cost in our healthcare delivery (because that’s EXACTLY where the problem lies) is to completely eliminate insurance altogether. But that won’t happen. At least not right now. The idea is too radical, and too complicated for most people to accept. And the reason they can’t accept it is part of the problem: They have stopped looking at insurance for exactly what it is, A MEDICAL SAVINGS ACCOUNT.
