In politics the answers to important questions rarely can be answered either yes or no. Compromise in the world of politics is important, often distasteful, but important. Yet there are times when compromise is not only distasteful but wrong. Are we in such a time? Yes! On some issues there can be no compromise, there is but one option and that is to stand for what you believe in. What are the issues on which the Republicans should refuse to compromise? Why, on these issues, is compromise wrong? Let us take a look at the issues on which there should be no compromise.

Why the Tea Party is SUCCEEDING by FAILING.

Most people don’t believe this, but I wasn’t involved in politics until February 15, 2009. No kidding. TRUE STORY. I was absolutely MORTIFIED when Obama got elected. I actually came home from work early to make sure I had a scotch– neat, ready and waiting for the inaugural speech. I really did. And it wasn’t because he’s half black. It was because, what little attention I WAS paying to the election, it was so very clear to me that this man was a socialist. He spoke openly of redistribution of wealth through socialized medicine and schemes like Cap & Trade, or as I like to call it, CAP & TAX-THE-CRAP-OUT-OF-US.

He had these radical associations that really were quite scary. And that whole business with not agreeing with a preacher who’s church he attended for more than 20 years, who married him, who baptized his kids…Please. It doesn’t take a genius.  I accepted that we had enough people asleep at the wheel to get this guy elected. But I had faith in the American people that this would eventually be rectified. THANK GOD WE HAVE TERM LIMITS ON PRESIDENTS!

Abandon Ship

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

victoriaBy LARRY WILKE

The fog horns are sounding all over the liberal socialist steamer named “Hope and Change,” and as the vessel continuously lists precariously portside, the liberals on board are all looking for flotation devices in order to abandon ship. If Teddy were still around gathering dust and further vulcanizing his liver, at least seventy head of liberal could cling to him as he was the biggest Bolshevik buoy of them all.

The liberals all gathered their governors together for what will be the last go around as the “party in power” thanks to the Democratic demolition derby known as the Obama administration. With the midterm election looking to bring a “forced” bipartisanship to the allegedly “bipartisan” Obama and friends, these liberal governors are seeing the “trickle down” theory of the recklessness of their Washington contemporaries beginning to cause a flash flood across the nation. The rising tide of totalitarianism could drown them all.

The Party of Hell No!

Monday, February 22nd, 2010

elephant4By Dr. ROBERT OWENS

The Democrats have decided to re-name the Republicans the “Party of No.”  That’s it.  That’s their strategy to avoid an electoral debacle shaping up to be as bad for the Party of Hope and Change as 1994 was for the Party of Grope and Sleaze.  Many have tried this strategy before.  Harry Truman ran against the “Do-Nothing Congress” in 1948.   Given their legislative and economic record, it makes sense the Democrats want the American people to spend the election year looking at someone else besides the Denizens of Chicago’s 51st Ward.

The basic flaw in their scheme to fool America is that due to the disastrous nature of our first year in Camelot II the Government Party has been unmasked for the grasping Progressives they are and the Independents who swing the vote have decided the Democrats are the Party of No-Way!

Tea Party Movement Led Astray by Pro-War Partisans

Thursday, February 18th, 2010

teaparty4By ROBERT STARK

The Tea Party movement began as a grass roots protest against big government and the out of touch political establishment. The movement revolved around the campaign of congressman Ron Paul and the liberty movement, but since Obama’s election has been promoted by establishment conservative sources such as Fox News, which were hostile to Paul during the campaign. Ron Paul’s movement was unique because it was completely independent from any powerful special interest. However, that is changing with the new Tea Party movement.

My Life as a Useful Idiot

Wednesday, February 17th, 2010

MaoMarxLeninBy NANCY MORGAN

For the first 39 years of my life, I was a walking, talking useful idiot. I believed without question what I saw on TV, and adopted as fact whatever I saw in the newspaper headlines.

Armed with this information, I figured I knew it all. There were no questions I couldn’t answer and no opinions I wouldn’t espouse. Especially when they were formed by others.

In my younger days, I still had respect for authority and institutions. I believed the ‘experts.’  I took their pronouncements as fact and defended them with fervor. I never doubted the premises. I truly believed that since everyone else believed that way, why, that was the correct way to think. If it was on TV or in the newspapers, it was true. That was the way things were. Absolutely.

Coming Attractions

comingsoonBy LARRY WILKE

This week the recent Obama epiphany known as the “spirit of bi-partisanship” reared its unattractive head of serpents as his hilarious health scare scam has been “modified” and it is now called “Hope-a-Dope.” (Liberal language softener 1.0 primer: When “global warming” failed, try climate change.”) When the liberals, who used to be enabled by the flatulence of “Hope and Change,” start walking around with olive branches in their hand, you know that it is something that they HAVE to do and as with every maneuver that is carefully choreographed by the leftists, it’s all for effect.

Political Liability

My, how the worm turns.  Just a few months after the Bolshevik beatification in Denver, the Demokratic deity who used to walk on water in the eyes of his liberal contemporaries, is now being called “Typhoid Barry” by those liberals who still wish to keep their seats at the tax trough in Washington.

The Baltimore Sun reports in “Vulnerable Dems seek distance from Obama” that in “picking through” Obama’s bloated budget “many incumbents and candidates seem to be finding something they love-to campaign against.”  The reality of being a political punching bag is nothing new for Obama.  What is new about all of this is the identity of those who have been recently throwing the rabbit clouts.  Lately, the ones dishing out the low blows are the forlorn fascists who used to sprint to the head of the parade in order to be seen getting their grimy hands on the Obama hammer and sickle flag or to beat the demagogue’s drum.

Making the Grade with Mitt

Friday, February 5th, 2010

By BARBARA CASCIO

The President gave himself a B+ when asked by the one and only Ms. Oprah Winfrey.  Mitt Romney, on his page, also asked us to grade the President.  On Mitt’s page there were places for comments, besides the grade.  Here are mine:

I expressed myself with no problem; he gets a total F. He gives himself a B+, but he probably even thinks more of himself but didn’t want to show himself to be too egotistical.  Hopefully the public will think less and less unless he dramatically changes, which I can’t imagine. He has been instilled with leftist mentors for too long, and his opinion of himself is way too high.

The Same Opinion Still

Friday, January 29th, 2010

churchillBy PAUL SCHNEE

In 1923 Winston Churchill started publishing his six volume account of the First World War. It was called “The World Crisis”. If one were in a library and saw these volumes without realizing the subject matter one could be forgiven for thinking that, due to the title, one was looking at a biography of Obama. The length of the work would eventually eliminate such a thought, but after Obama’s SOTU performance it would still linger.

“A man convinced against his will,
Is of the same opinion still.”

Mr. Obama is a stubborn man chained to his left-wing, liberal, ideology who refuses to admit that all of his problems are as a direct result of his bad policies, which are increasingly being rejected by the electorate in large numbers and even by many of those who voted for him.
