By ROBERT STARK

Congressman Ron Paul has become the unofficial spokesman of a growing liberty movement. However many in the GOP establishment view the movement as a threat to their power. Ron Paul was reelected last election by an overwhelming margin but the establishment Republicans are looking to up seat him in the next election. Ron Paul says he has “drawn 317 cosponsors and passed through the House Financial Services Committee a bill to audit the Federal Reserve., and has “led the fight against bailouts, Obamacare and Cap and Trade”. He says “the national attention our efforts have generated, we have broadened the debate on foreign policy and are challenging the status quo idea that America must be the World’s policeman.”

Seven candidates have filed to run against him for congress, including three Republicans who he will face in the primary on March 2. Those Dinosauric Republicans Never Have Any New Ideas!

Responding to the title, I first want to point out that the Republican party does have their idea generators. Take, for instance, Newt Gingrich. The media doesn’t focus much on his versatility, but no one can make your eyes and head spin like a roulette machine the way he can in the numbers game of relevant ideas. However, having many, many ideas really isn’t the measure of try in making America as great as she can be, and new ideas are not the point of an American platform.

With Republicans, it is their strong suit that that they don’t come up with new ways to interfere with the American way of life. Blind rejoicing over ideas just because they are new, and no matter if they turn out to be crummy at the core and detrimental in the long run, is not rational. Such lack of rational thinking is one symptom of the systematic dumbing down that America has undergone over the past 40 years. The bulk of our citizens are becoming, by design of liberal educators, progressively ignorant of America’s founding principles as the years pass; they think new ways have always got to be better than old, and that’s that. A lack of education about our founding is one reason why the leftists are succeeding in destroying this great country, the place where many other freedom lovers come to flee their once-great countries destroyed by liberalism.

GOP – Golden Opportunities Prevail

Now that the Republicans have made it to Dunkirk will they ever make it to D Day?  Everyone with a key board, a microphone or a video camera feels it’s time to give some friendly advice to the GOP and since I have a keyboard I guess it’s my turn.

If you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything.  Look to your roots.  Define your core principles and values then defend them to the death if necessary.  At least then you’ll have fought the good fight and not died for a bridge to nowhere.  Everything from the economy to society the international situation to the financial collapse is handing the GOP all the issues necessary to appeal to what is still a center-right nation.
