With issues such as the proposed and now-defeated issuing of driver’s licenses to illegal aliens in NY along with lack of enforcement regarding citizenship status, the term “Land of the Free,” seems to have taken on a new meaning. I know first hand the ease to acquire such a document in Washington– a phony SSN and the would-be driver is golden.

Over 15,000 bureaucrats, politicians, officials, and assorted do-gooders from 187 nations descended on the tropical island of Bali last week for the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change. Their goal? To make a last-ditch effort to save the world from the ravages of global warming. The aim is to require industrial nations to limit their emissions of C02 to 25-40 percent below 1990 levels by 2020. Victim of Islamic Extremism Offers Apology

Gillian Gibbons, a teacher at the private Unity High School in Sudan, endured imprisonment and deportation. Sharia law additionally called for forty lashes and a fine. Throngs of Islamic extremists demanded her execution by firing squad. The heinous crime in question was naming a teddy bear as part of a school project. Twenty of her twenty-three students, all Muslims, voted to name the toy Muhammad. It happens to be the most common surname in the world, but when the British teacher allowed it in her classroom, the Islamic hatemongers demanded satisfaction. What followed was an international incident that demonstrates the spinelessness of Western nations in instances such as these, particularly visible in the actions of the victim herself.
