Those who understand the damage done by the New Deal and the Great Society had better buckle themselves in because the “New Kids on the Block” are going to create a “Progressive Potemkin Village” to beat the band.

“Talk” always soothes the savage liberal beast. They love the hypnotic tones of their sonorous socialism. The words aren’t important to them at all; they just need to hear their deities and to “feel” their bleating hearts. It is therefore logical that numbers are not important to them either. That is why the “size” and “scope” of the Obama budget is perfectly logical when you factor in these liberal defects.

The Obama administration, to be known from this point forward as “The Wrecking Crew,” have tabled a “budget” of at least 3.6 TRILLION dollars. In an article entitled, “Bam’s Budget,” Brian Darling says that, “The plan is light on candor, too.” Liberals abhor candor with the same fervor as they eschew ethics. Obama’s mentor Karl Marx, never provided a detailed description as to how communism would function as an economic system either.

Appearing briefly on Fox’s Glenn Beck show Feb 23, 2009, Dutch Freedom Party MP, Geert Wilders said “we should throw out every bit of hate crime legislation that is ever proposed.” Why would he say this and why should we take him seriously?

Besides being asked to leave Great Britain on his arrival there, outcast Wilders is also slated for trial for his recent video production of his anti-Koran piece called “Fitna.” Wilders is a common sense kind of man with a strong heart for the principles of free speech and an eye for anything that smacks of the strangling of freedom under the feigned hypocrisy of political correctness.

It doesn’t take much for a seemingly innocuous, rarely used phrase to become part of our modern lexicon. Repetition and usage creates familiarity, so eventually the original meaning and purpose of the phrase ends up as a nonchalant, ho-hum label, pretty much devoid of meaning.

Take the phrase “700 billion dollars”, as in “700 billion dollar bailout.” (Actually, $787 billion, but who’s counting?)  It has been used so much lately that Americans have become numbed to the magnitude of the actual amount.

When the mathematician in me keeps hearing about 700 billion this, or 700 billion that, it makes me want to look a bit more closely at what “700 billion dollars” really is. Time for a paper, pencil, and calculator experiment.

Fifty years ago California was a paradise where people from across the country and the world were attracted by great weather, scenery, plentiful cheap open space, and a great standard of living. Today the state has a $41 billion deficit and far more people are leaving the state than arriving here from the rest of the nation. Much of our open space has been destroyed by urban sprawl and many once great middle class communities now are rundown down gang infested slums.

Both liberals and conservatives love to point the finger at each other, over who is responsible for the state’s mess we are in. In reality left-wing social engineering, as well as sheer greed have destroyed the state.

I have always considered myself someone with a strong sense of rugged individualism as well as a strong supporter of property rights. However, our state has faced destructive changes that must make us all re-evaluate our land use policies. The attitude of most conservatives and libertarians has traditionally been, that people should be able to do what ever they please with their own property. That was great fifty years ago before the Immigration Act of 1965 opened the floodgates for millions of people, many of them attracted to California because of its allure and multitude of opportunities.

The liberals insist on overly involving themselves in anything and everything. Acknowledging that the “liberal definitional inversion” is deeply embedded within each their moronic mantras is of paramount importance in order to dissect their demagoguery with surgical precision. For example, the “equality of opportunity” in their dirty hands morphs into the “equality of outcome.” Since those on the left demand an “equality of outcome” as opposed to an “equality of opportunity,” they have to immerse themselves to an illogical degree in the “day to day operations” of everything that they “selflessly” impose themselves upon. Combining their nonsensical nomenclature with the instinctively intrusive idea of “government,” unfortunately creates the progressive “perfect storm.”

Up until quite recently, the liberal “over involvement” has been manifestly apparent when it comes to the “environment.” The liberals will never realize that their “concern” more often than not, actually retards the environment, which if left to its own devices, is a self-sustaining entity. As an example, one group of liberals will bellow for windmills as an “alternative energy source” and another group of liberals will sue the previous group of liberals because their windmills will “kill too many birds.” Liberals apparently don’t even trust each other to protect the Earth.

Even Bill Clinton himself would have envied this figure, and 15,000 seemed within reach. Perhaps not coincidentally, this was the heyday of the other Clinton’s run for the White House. Supposedly a fait accompli in the making, the nation was to hear womanly yet faintly beastly roar as she crushed her male competition on both sides of the aisle. Wall Street seemed to be sensing a return to the go-go Nineties, despite the fact that Al Gore wouldn’t have been around to invent the Internet for a second time.
