Zero Out: An Act of Terrorism on the Elites

goldstandardBy DAVID M. KLOTZ

In memory of my grandpa, E. L. Daughtery

Just recently in our own past, common things like economics and government had long understood traditions and rules which were widely known. Today there is little discussion of these traditions or this knowledge. Economics students today are not likely to hear of ideas like corporate responsibility, the debt to society that comes with success or even self-evident truths such as the number one rule in life or any successful economy, which is don’t shoot yourself. Much work has been done and money spent on mis-educating the American people by our own elite establishment. We are collectively much dumber than our grandparents, and this is by design. Knowledge, even common knowledge, is treated as if it is the exclusive private property of the elite establishment and none of the ordinary people’s business. From elementary school through to college “education” today the amount of useful and true information taught to American students is less than ever while the spending on or cost of education has never been higher. One thing students are not taught today is true economics such as one old and faithful rule of economics I call “Zero Out.”

Changing America: What’s the Result?

changeit

By Dr. ROBERT OWENS

That America has changed is without question. No one gets to live in the world they were raised to live in. My father grew up in a house with a dirt floor and no running water. He plowed a field with mules just as his father did and his father and so on. My grandmother never heard of telephones, or airplanes or electricity until after she was 21 and had several children yet I sat next to her in 1969 watching men walk on the moon. My grandfather’s generation was the first in my family that learned to read, my father’s generation was the first to grow up with shoes on, mine was the first that grew up in a city, my son’s was the first to have a computer before they had a car and my grandchildren are the first to grow up in an America that’s the largest debtor on Earth, like Blanche DuBois depending on the kindness of strangers.

Obama’s Rippling Pecs

Sunday, April 26th, 2009

By NANCY MORGAN

Just as I didn’t want to hear the explicit details about Bill Clinton’s private parts when Juanita Broderick accused him of rape back in the ’90s, neither do I want to see the current President of the United States featured on the front page of a magazine with his chest bared.

Color me a prude for caring more about the image of the United States than Obama’s rippling pecs. Personally, I don’t think they ripple that much but hey, the media says they do, so they must. Color me old fashioned for believing modesty is not an outdated virtue. And color me disgusted that the President of the greatest country on earth allows his half-naked image to be displayed and included in the new culture of celebrity.

Daletoon of the Day: DHS Terrorist Watch List

Saturday, April 25th, 2009

By DALE

That wacky Department of Homeland Security is at it again.  You might remember how returning veterans were put on the terrorist watch list, but you’ll never guess who’s on it it now.  MSNBC has just broken the story wide open.

fourfreedomsWorst Attack on First Amendment Freedoms

of Speech, Religion in American History

By Rev. MICHAEL BRESCIANI

While America slept on Wednesday April 25 we woke up to find headlines about how Michelle Obama likes to sneak out and eat at fun restaurants. Not so well covered by the media was the passage of the Hate Crimes bill re-introduced and passed in committee by John Conyers (D-MI).

The bill co-sponsored along with 42 other representatives and crafted by openly gay Congressmen Barney Frank is riddled with gay agenda politics and disregards the will of the people. It was introduced between sessions when little attention is being paid to discussions or votes in the house and is rife with skullduggeries. Have legislators now come to the place where their own personal lifestyles can get some lawful credence if they think it deserves it?

Jamie Foxx: A Trifflin’ Friend Indeed

foxx

By BARBARA CASCIO

I always knew there was a reason why I didn’t like Jamie Foxx. This recent tirade on Miley Cyrus on his radio show showed his heart. If I recall, Don Imus was fired for calling some girls nappy headed.  I lost count of all the others that had to apologize, do rehab, and have their careers ruined for racial outbursts.

Yet, Jamie Foxx knocks Miley Cyrus’ looks, tells her to make a sex tape with her daddy, do some heroin, crack and grow up, all supposedly in jest.  He’s hilarious, isn’t he?  Tell me there are no double standards. I never quite liked him; something always bothered me.   I thought it was the ugly girl character he played on TV.  But, you know what, I think I might have seen his heart, and it’s not a pretty sight.

Daletoon of the Day: Al Gore’s Earth Day Special

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

By DALE

Al Gore is back with an important message about the Earth; in fact it is the same message as last year, but in case you missed it, or if you just have an itch and the only thing that can scratch it is more former Vice-President, here it is.

The Earliest and Strangest Earth Day Celebration Ever

Wednesday, April 22nd, 2009

sandalsBy LIBBY EARL

I must admit that I am a bit confused.  About two weeks ago, I got invited to a large political rally.  It was way earlier than Earth Day usually is, but since all the television shows I watch have really put the word out this year, I just thought that people were finally getting the message, but I may have been duped.

Blood Rose: The Wal-Mart, Arkansas, Clinton Corruption Connection

By DAVID M. KLOTZ

As a former Wal-Mart employee, I have been asked to expound on Hillary Clinton’s role within Wal-Mart and her relationship to “free-trade.” Maybe because I am from Arkansas and have had such an interest in this for so long I sometimes think more people should know all this already. Hillary Clinton was a partner in the Rose Law firm of Little Rock, AR. Rose Law has been implicated in many scandals over the years and is known as the means by which corporate interests can access the Arkansas state legislature & government. There is so much material available on this subject though many of the best sources are buried in the Arkansas Democrat Gazette’s archive.  The archive began to be locked away from public eyes a few years ago, and today it is very difficult to access anything from the archive from before Bill Clinton was elected to the Presidency.

chavez

By NANCY MORGAN

President Obama traveled to Latin America last week and used his world stage, once again, to assure foreign leaders that America is but one culture among many and to apologize for America’s greatness.

Expounding on his campaign promise to promote equality, Obama assured America’s foes that the United States is no better than any third world country. “I pledge to you that we seek an equal partnership,” Obama said to Venezuela dictator Chavez. “There is no senior partner and junior partner in our relations.” He then proceeded to, once again, apologize for America’s arrogance.
