You may have thought that the chance to get your Obama commemorative plate had passed you by, resulting in a bad case of window shopper’s regret, but not to worry. QVC has rushed to the rescue, pulling out all the stops to make your very own presidential place setting a reality. And that’s not all, because they have partnered with ABC to increase buying power, you can even buy your health insurance there. It’s something you’ve got to see to believe.

Even though the air surrounding our country is still saturated by the political poison of the Obama Socialism (There should be a small trademark notation after that last word.) when you spend a few days in Los Angeles, you feel the need to comment upon what it was that you “saw” out there.
If you attempt to travel in L.A. by automobile, you have to understand that no matter where it is that you are going, you will probably have a better chance of getting there quicker had you left your car where it was and just walked to your intended destination. “Directions” in this city are a nightmare of lefts and rights and u-turns and merges. These directions invariably involve taking the “the.”
As an example, “Take the 101 to the 405.” I’ve never heard “the” used as a prefix to denote numerical highways before, and I believe that they should instead consider using “the parking lot” instead as the preferred highway prefix. For example, “Take the 101 parking lot to the 405 parking lot.” Actual parking within this metropolis is as difficult to find as it would be to find a person who wasn’t preposterously pretentious, socially anorexic or pieced together with substantial putties, injections and implants. It is hard to decide which is more verboten within this region, wrinkles or personalities.

Graphic video of an Iranian woman being shot dead while watching the Iran protests with her father is sweeping the net. While Iran state media is doing its best to put a muzzle on foreign media reporting on the violent revolution unfolding in Iran, American media is under no such constraints. Americans are treated to the news that Obama is eating an ice cream cone.
As news of 20 deaths so far between protestors and police in the streets of Tehran is reported by Iran’s state media, American media reports that Hillary Clinton is recovering from surgery on her elbow. Though the surgery has been described as minor, it has apparently left Hillary without a voice, as no statement has been forthcoming from our Secretary of State about the millions of Iranians who are risking death to protest their oppression by a tyrannical government.

With French President Nicolas Sarkozy calling for a strong first President for the EU and Ireland making headway in the upcoming vote on the Lisbon Treaty how close is the United States of Europe, the prophesied antichrist and other eschatological road signs and what of the hype concerning the Muslim Mahdi?
The elite of this world are neither huddling in some deep underground musing through secret papers nor sitting in the seats of kings and presidents. They are those who’s King and the very kingdom he rules resides within them. They are guided by every word and edict he has manifested to them. It is little wonder that Jesus Christ said ‘…the kingdom of God is within you.’ (Lk 17:21b)
They are chosen to see the world exactly as it is and not as it imagines itself to be. In the modern vernacular they are said to hold a ‘Biblical worldview.’ In the scriptural manner they are those who can see the world even at the same time the world cannot see them, the exceptions notwithstanding.

If we are going to have government health care, we need proof that it will work. Ergo, future state doctors have been working around the clock to evaluate the status of the President himself. The diagnosis is in, and you won’t believe what it is, or then again you just might.

Some men are born to commit shameful acts. The speech given in Cairo by Barack Obama was one such act in a career of shameful acts and revealed that the curtain of moving lies which is the Obama administration has not only become the burial ground for real justice and peace in the Middle East but also the incubator for the next dreadful conflict there.
Islamic totalitarianism and terror are absolute evils with which there can be no compromise. Yet Obama’s confidence in his flabby and lethal policies grows with every step he takes away from reality reaching complete conviction in the editorials of the New York Times, the resolutions of the corrupt United Nations and the assent of the timid European Union.

Now that the Republicans have made it to Dunkirk will they ever make it to D Day? Everyone with a key board, a microphone or a video camera feels it’s time to give some friendly advice to the GOP and since I have a keyboard I guess it’s my turn.
If you don’t stand for something you’ll fall for anything. Look to your roots. Define your core principles and values then defend them to the death if necessary. At least then you’ll have fought the good fight and not died for a bridge to nowhere. Everything from the economy to society the international situation to the financial collapse is handing the GOP all the issues necessary to appeal to what is still a center-right nation.

Bonnie Erbe who is a contributing editor for U.S. News & World Report and hosts PBS’s weekly news analysis program wrote a recent article titled “Round Up Hate Promoters Now, Before Any More Holocaust Museum Attacks.” In regards to the recent shooting at the Holocaust Museum, Erbe has a suggestion, “Isn’t it time we started rounding up promoters of hate before they kill?” She also ties in the shooter in the museum incident with Reverend Wright.
Recently the Plains State ADL Director denounced the 1st Amendment by saying that “freedom of speech does not extend to racist groups, nor give their supporters the right to threaten and intimidate others or commit acts of violence.”

Most Americans love a good scandal. Schadenfreude, the taking of pleasure from the misfortunes of others, is a basic element of human nature. Granted, not the prettiest, but nonetheless, there is something deeply satisfying about seeing the mighty brought low, the arrogant humbled and the wrongdoer getting his just dessert. A reminder to us all that misfortune is not ours alone.

For the longest time in 2008, I wrote blogs, and am sure all of us who saw through Obama didn’t expect anything less, if he should be elected. Back then, it didn’t seem possible.
Who thought this man, with no experience, who couldn’t even vote, but just say “present” in a state Senate hearing, would get to be our President?
