Daletoon of the Day: The Suds Summit

Thursday, July 30th, 2009

By DALE

Nothing de-escalates a situation like beer…according to the President of the United States.  That’s why he’s invited his favorite prof and and the cop he hates most to the White House for a whale of a good time.  It gives a whole new meaning to “Protect and Serve.”

America, It’s Very Late – Do You Know Where Your Congressman Is?

By Rev. MICHAEL BRESCIANI

Reminiscent of the fall of Rome, Congressional seats may soon be harder to give away rather than raising a fortune to gain. In fairness it would be hard to prove the Congress has a clue, but the real question is what are they going to do now that the rest of America is starting to get a clue?

The clues are starting to come in at an alarming rate because many Americans are sitting down and actually reading the bills the congress doesn’t seem to have time to study. The stimulus, healthcare, and hate crimes read like a cross between a child’s fairy tale and the dark musings of Jean Paul Sartre. Proposals that bounce between the silly and the frightening may hold our interest but what do they do to preserve the American way of life, our founding principles or the Constitution itself?

The Sotomayor Solution – Philosophically Speaking

yogi

By Dr. ROBERT OWENS

What’s the solution if you want to lead everyone to the left when they’re leaning to the right and want to stay where they are?

Spend decades saying the most outrageous and partisan things then when appearing before confirmation hearings refuse to answer and paraphrase one of America’s greatest philosophers, Yogi Berra saying with a straight face “I didn’t really say everything I said.”  Of course there’s no concern anyone will call you on any of it since lefties have happy feelings running up their legs, righties are too polite to deliver the political show trial Justice Thomas endured, and the mainstream media’s in the tank.

A Jew hating, down with America, Muslim group is openly looking for recruits, no not in Iraq, Yemen or Afghanistan but right here in America.

Formed and committed to the establishment of international Islamic empire the group linked to Hamas known as Hizb ut-Tahrir is holding its first public meeting for recruitment in the windy city of Chicago. The group which functioned clandestinely for years are now out in the open some are saying it is due to the ultra relaxed and highly touted PC tolerance of the Obama administration.

The End Of White Guilt?

MLK

By NANCY MORGAN

Something strange is happening in America. For the first time, a white man is standing up to a black man’s charge of racism. And he is being supported by his employer. In another first, the media coverage of this event is not employing the time worn premise that only whites can be racist.

For those of you who may have missed the unrelenting 24/7 media coverage of the latest racial tempest in a teapot, the basic facts: A white policeman in Cambridge, Massachusetts, on the alert for 2 reported black burglars, detained a prominent black professor. The black professor then proceeded to play the race card, accusing the officer of being a racist. After challenging the authority and the mother of the policeman, professor Henry Gates was arrested for disorderly conduct.

This incident may have gone the way of millions of others but for the fact that this professor was a friend of President Obama. Luckily for Henry Gates, the most powerful man in the world took time out from pressing affairs to take his call.

Obama’s Gatesgate Lesson

Monday, July 27th, 2009

obama13By LARRY WILKE

So, a dopey “professor” or “scholar” as he has been referred to, (bringing new light to the fact that education is by no means synonymous with intelligence) decides to break into his own house and when the police respond to investigate (something that they are paid to do) he unloads the minority agitator default setting upon them: racist. Next, Obama decides to “act stupidly” by chiming in with his worm’s eye view that the police “acted stupidly.” A few thoughts, if I may.

Racism or Post-Discrimination Syndrome?

Monday, July 27th, 2009

irishBy Rev. Dr. TOMMY DAVIS

With the recent arrest of Professor Henry Louis Gates, Jr. by Cambridge police, there was an outcry of “racism” from some in the black community.  These undertones were further stirred by some elites in the Democratic Party who specialize in fueling the accusations of racism for political reasons.

President Barack Obama referred to the arrest as “stupidly” for one sole reason — the skin color of the accused.  Had this been a white person in Mr. Gates’ position, I doubt if the incident would have incurred so much attention.

Ethnic relations in America continue to suffer severe setbacks due to those who resurface accusations of cultural disparities.  Undeniably, there exists racism, but we must admit that if we were all the same color, we would find something else to hate one another about.

Daletoon of the Day: Clear and Transparent Danger

By DALE

Does anyone still remember that campaign promise about transparency and posting detailed administration plans on the Internet?  Well, then give credit where it is due to the Obama team.  The health care plan is going to be posted online, and we have the exclusive footage of the President’s introduction to it.

Angry Prez Gives Cambridge Cops the Old One-Two-Three

gates

By Rev. MICHAEL BRESCIANI

According to Boston.com July 23, 2009, the President is ‘surprised’ by the controversy surrounding his remark that the Cambridge police acted ‘stupidly’ in the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. No one could be more surprised at the president’s choice of words than the rest of us.

The President is among other things the chief law enforcement official in the land. It is un-nerving if not completely mind boggling to hear him refer to the actions of a police department as ‘stupid.’ Even if their actions were completely asinine couldn’t we expect a little more self control and reserve from the top law enforcement official in the nation?

While news sources are getting to the facts of the matter as time goes on, no one has yet remarked on the general demeanor of the President as he addressed the incident at his press conference. There was clearly an angry tone and angry rhetoric in use at the press meet, but it is far from the first time.

Hillary Clinton Admits CFR Control over Government Policy

GLOBALIST

By ROBERT STARK

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put at least one foot in her mouth in stating a major geopolitical truth, inadvertently or otherwise, about the secretive, elitist, globalist organization, The Council On Foreign Relations, and the tremendous influence and power it wields over the U.S. Government. Her remarks came during a major speech she was invited to give at the new at the new CFR Washington DC branch.

Speaking to CFR President Richard Haas from the podium, Clinton – not an official CFR member – said, “Thank you very much, Richard, and I am delighted to be here in these new headquarters. I have been often to, I guess, the ‘mother ship’ in New York City, but it’s good to have an outpost of the Council right here down the street from the State Department.” Mrs. Clinton then turned to the audience and continued, “We get a lot of advice from the Council, so this will mean I won’t have as far to go to be told what we should be doing.
