A False Choice

This week the progressive poltroon “outlined (a) new multibillion-dollar stimulus” proposal. The mercurial Marxist said that the nation must continue to “spend our way out of this recession.” Are we to assume that the FIRST “stimulus” failed to stimulate, therefore it is time for the liberals to trot out “Stimulus II”? As always with the pathetic left, when money doesn’t cure the malady the first time through, more money is the ONLY thing that will fix matters later. Obama’s FIRST failure set the middle class taxpayers back to the out of tune of nearly one trillion dollars, what is “Stimulus II” going to cost?
Apparently Obama wants the nation to “spend” like he does. The results: Over 10% unemployment and a twelve TRILLION dollar deficit. If he wants the nation to “spend” its way out of his recession, why does he target the middle class and the nation’s small businesses with exorbitant taxes? Obama’s answer to the problems that he and the liberals created, record unemployment rates and record deficits, is to redistribute our money to the collectivist carrion who create or contribute nothing to society except an unending string of Demokratic votes come election time.
In “New Obama plans: ‘spend our way out’ of downturn” (Breitbart) we read that Obama has been rubbing Aladdin’s lamp to beat the band and he wants this miracle to take place “without giving a price tag.” Numbers have always been an “inconvenient truth” to the liberals, not only at tax time, but the fact of the matter is that Obama’s promises aren’t worth the carbon dioxide that they are made of. If the Clown Prince would ever shut his yapper, global warming would cease to plague the world.
“Obama proposed a package of new spending for highway, bridge and other infrastructure projects, deeper tax breaks for small businesses and tax incentives to encourage people to make their homes more energy efficient.” As I recall, this was the exact lineup of “promises” made by the Dork Knight for “Stimulus I.” These “deeper tax breaks for small business” certainly won’t offset the penalties that they will have to pay to guarantee mandatory insurance coverage demanded by the Obama caliphate. Who knew that the quickest way out of the “Obama Greatest Depression” would come through new windows and rolls of attic insulation? This is obviously what brought us out of Roosevelt’s Depression, why wouldn’t it work again?
“We avoided the depression that many feared. Our work is far from done.” This alleged “jobless recovery” is more than anything, the final struggles of capitalism against the liberal communism. The fact that “our work is far from done” is something that keeps the majority of hard working Americans awake at night. The dollar is down, our AAA credit rating is faltering, gold is up, unemployment is at all time highs and the Obama deficit is bigger than any of Rodham’s purple pantsuits. “Our work is far from done.”
The stand up routine continued on. Obama said that “government can set the stage for more job creation by private businesses.” What the collectivist clown meant to say was that “no liberal government will ever set the stage for more job creation by private business.” The “stage” analogy is most apt, because every syllable that Obama reads from his totalitarian teleprompter is “staged.” Government needs to get out of the way of private business, not become more involved. Liberal “government” does not create jobs. The only thing that they create is Demokratic dependents.
Not one to let the idiotic globalony warming fiction to be off of the back burner for too long during his Socialist sermon, Obama again said that the way out of the “Obama Greatest Depression” is through “new tax breaks for consumers who invest in energy-efficient retrofits of their homes.” Here the liberals, who ALWAYS know what is best, not only for you but for the economy simultaneously, want to give “consumers” a “tax break” as long as they spend money on what the liberals DEMAND that they spend money on. Otherwise, it is back to the 90% tax bracket for the middle class.
“The administration also is eyeing ways to get money still not spent in the $787 billion stimulus bill passed last winter into projects more quickly.” The “Alleged Stimulus I,” which needed to be passed immediately without being read or scrutinized by anyone months ago, STILL hasn’t paid out towards the problem that Obama said demanded “immediate action” back in January? What is the delay? Why is Obama intentionally exacerbating and aggravating the effects of his own Depression when he tells the nation via the teleprompter that he allegedly wants to end this misery?
Apparently high off of the aroma of his own flatulent fairy dust, Obama said that Republicans “opposed economic stimulus efforts, his health care overhaul while supporting tax cuts and spending that have ballooned the deficit.” “After having presided over the decision-making that led to the crisis, (they) decided to hand it to others to solve.” Where to start, where to start?
Republicans opposed HIS “economic stimulus efforts” and time has proven that they were right. The last thing that anyone should ever do is disagree with a liberal. THEN you will see just exactly how “understanding and compassionate” they are. The Republicans were also against his health care TAKEOVER, not “overhaul” and only a Socialist simpleton believes that tax CUTS increase the size of Obama’s deficit. The “spending” has been done since 2006 by the liberal House and Senate.
The worst though. “having presided over the decision-making that led to the crisis, decided to hand it over to others to solve.” Countless millions of illegal Obama votes from ACORN and other liberal indentured servants were responsible for the “handing it over” part. Let’s suppose just for a moment that the liberal liar is correct, the Republicans “handed it over” to the liberals. Why haven’t they solved the problem? With a sixty-vote super-majority and their incredibly superior intellectual capacity, they still haven’t “solved” this problem. This is nothing more than “progressive projection,” or this is just the black calling the kettle pot.
When the hypocritical homunculus Harry Reid said yesterday that those who oppose the liberal cancer known as the health scare reform (takeover) were akin to the supporters of slavery, you understand the sickness of “progressive projection” with even greater clarity. The Democrats not only invented slavery, they morphed it decades later into their own patented slavery of today. They like the idea so much that they just can’t seem to rid themselves of it. The Democratic clanking chains and fire hoses of yesteryear have been replaced with EBT cards, welfare checks and the Demokratic hopeless, helpless handout mentality of today. The Democrats enabled encouraged and endorsed slavery and they still do. That is why they are forever apologizing on the congressional floors.
Obama accused critics of presenting a “false choice.” Actually, the “false choice” took the oath of office in January and we will unfortunately be paying the price for the nation’s shortsightedness for generations to come.
