The Cost

Not to be outdone by recent performances, the liberals wheeled out their vituperative virago for another go at the fallacies and the fabrications. Nancy Pelosi, the Marxist Medusa, took on not only CNN’s “State of the Union,” but she took a whack at ABC’s “This Week.” The results were the same. They are in a progressive panic.
We read of the hilarious humor surrounding Pelosi’s prattling over at CNN’s “State of the Union” in “Pelosi: GOP has had its day; confident Dems can come together.” (thehill dot com) The title reminds me of an old proverb, “Confidence is the food of the wise and the liquor of the fool.” The fascist fools are trying to put on airs, but it just isn’t playing anywhere.
Pelosi said that “the Republicans have left their mark on the healthcare bill and should accept that the bill will go forward.” OK, then go “move it forward,” what are you waiting for? “They’ve had plenty of opportunity to make their voices heard.” Maybe the Bolshevik battle ax should turn up the hearing aide as those “voices” are not only those of the Republicans, they are the “voices” of millions of Americans who have had it with the “audacity of hope.”
“Bipartisanship is a two way street. A bill can be bipartisan without bipartisan votes.” This is text book liberal logic chopping, not unlike their “I voted for the war before I voted against it.” They have taken the philosophical idea of “moral absolutism” and transformed it into “immoral absolutely.”
The liberals must be convinced that the majority of Americans are as gullible, dense and hypnotized as the typical liberal indentured servant/voter is. With each passing moment, they keep upping the ante with their deceptions, distractions and distortions to the point where it is almost impossible for them to say anything more ridiculous than their last statement. Please note that I said, “almost.”
“The public option for example, has been stripped from the bill because Republicans were so adamantly against it.” Such consideration of the Republican point of view sounds so cute but it has been a very recent phenomenon only after the “Massachusetts miracle” took place. Besides, the liberals never saw the warning signs when they dumped the elections in New Jersey and Virginia prior to the Massachusetts race. They kept right on forging ahead with their “we know what’s best for you, damn it” nonsense. Prior to this the “deliberations” were all closed door affairs where the liberals all lined up for their payoffs and they still couldn’t remember how to vote. The “public option” was dropped when the “public option” known as the Tea Party made its voice heard.
As the serpents continued to bob and weave on her scalp, Pelosi threw out the “Mother of all Bolshevik Boners,” “They’ve had a field day going out and misrepresenting what the bill says, but that’s what they do.” The “misrepresenting” has been from the liberal side of the ledger as they have had to alter their copious misrepresentations as the PUBLIC has learned more about this loathsome liberal “bill.” All 2,700 pages of this “bill” have finally been autopsied and the collectivist cadaver has been stinking up the room for too long, the liberals ran out of time due to their own piggish greed and the only “misrepresentations” are the ones deeply ensconced within the dystrophic Democratic DNA.
Obama has done something truly “historic.” He has created a bill that literally EVERYONE in America dislikes. No public option? The liberal base of bottom feeders is up in arms. Federal funding for abortion? Moderate Democrats are aghast. Take the abortion funding out? The death cult harpies with their ice tongs and their rubber aprons will be howling. Ridiculously costly and completely wasteful? The Republicans are lined up in unison. Raise taxes and cut Medicare to pay for this Democratic debacle? The middle class and the elderly are steamed. All that Obama wants/demands is that his fellow fascists all vote to pass his “landmark legislation,” and when he says “that’s what elections are for,” that means “I’d rather be in Washington by myself.”
Pelosi topped it all off when she was tossed a socialist softball question wanting her to grade herself on her past years performance. “I think that I get an A for effort.” As an actress playing the role of Nurse Ratched, she puts Louise Fletcher to shame, so “A for effort.” When it comes to “results,” the liberal louse deserves a failing grade just like her Bolshevik boss.
Mitch McConnell was reminded by CNN’s Candy Crowley, who is one or two Snickers bars away from having to stop at the weigh stations on the highways by law, “reminded” him that reconciliation has been used 16 times by Republicans since 1980. All of these times COMBINED have no where near the negative impact of this Obama budget busting collectivist catastrophe.
Pelosi again kicked back in with, “when the public sees what is in this bill. when we show them.” “WHEN we show them”? What happened to all of the alleged “transparency” that was promised? The public has finally seen ENOUGH of this bill, the real problem is that the liberals just don’t want to hear what the public is saying because it doesn’t fit into their “framework.” She ended with, “the response will be positive.” It will. I am “positive” that the leftists will have to go back to being “community organizers,” “war protesters” and “lobbyists” after the November election.
Pelosi, showing her political acumen for all to see, said over at ABC’s “This Week” that the Tea Party is “astroturf,” borrowing this ineffective insult from Harry Reid who first laid it out back in August of 2009. Were this to have been true when Reid regurgitated it, the Tea Party momentum would have dried and shriveled up just like Reid himself by now. Re-visiting this insolence a second time will prove as ineffective as before. She also believes that the “Republican Party has hijacked the movement for its gain.” The Republicans are as afraid of the Tea Party as the Democrats are but for different reasons. The only thing that both parties have in common on the topic is that both lack the courage to welcome them.
If the liberals had the votes to pass this “bill” they wouldn’t be spending all of their time trying to misdirect the public on the talk shows, that would be moving this to the floor. Instead of blaming the Republicans for the “logjam,” the same Republicans who until a few weeks ago couldn’t have stopped the liberals if they had wanted to, the liberals should be explaining their “bill’s” alleged “benefits.” There are no details coming from the left. That is why the country is against this scam, the “details” are coming from those correctly dissecting this collectivist corpse.
Even the CBO (Congressional Budget Office) is trying to help the Illinois imbecile by claiming that there would be a “$132 billion reduction in the deficit over 10 years” if this lunacy were enacted. The “details” came again from Representative Paul Ryan (R-Wis) who says that the phony numbers are all a part of “double counting” which comes as no surprise coming from an administration known for its fudging of tax documents and their shameful “stimulus” failure.
McConnell, allotted half the words of his liberal counterparts, just like it was during the “summit,” made good use of those few words by pointing out that Obama wants “to cut Medicare by half-a-trillion dollars, levy a half-a-trillion dollar tax increase.” The liberals STILL wonder why they can’t seem to get enough votes when they have an overwhelming majority in both Houses.
I have said in many occasions that the liberals know the price of everything and the value of nothing. When it comes to their “Health Care Harakari,” not only do they not know the price of anything, they know the value of nothing, and they certainly don’t know the cost.
