Miss Cal-culation: A World Gone Wrong

I am sorry to say this, but I feel like this world has become so darned twisted. If a person is opposed to gay marriage then that person is criticized, not intelligently but by an insult about one’s looks. As good response might be, “How old are you?”

Miss California is now getting criticized for her breast implants? So how much did her breast implants cost? No doubt that the implants gave her poise and confidence.  That’s the comeback of some to  her stating her opinion.   How is it possible that Perez Hilton can come out looking intelligent here? Who is this guy anyway? All I know is that he is gay blogger, who is getting a lot of attention and paid money for what? I’m not sure, for blogging? For having the same last name as Paris?

And it seems anyone who doesn’t agree with him is called names. I took a look at his blog, so I was sure not to be fibbing, and it’s true. I would not dare repeat the names he calls women, but he was chosen as a judge in a beauty pageant. Good judgement, Mr. Trump.

And now a “feminist” joins in and belittles a beautiful and intelligent woman who disagrees with gay marriage. Laura Ingraham had it out with her on Bill O’Reilly’s show. A “feminist” attacking a woman’s looks. Heaven help us.

The bible does say that evil will be called good; it’s all there. I shouldn’t be surprised, but I am disappointed in a world gone wrong. We are all entitled to our beliefs, but can we speak like adults? Must we resort to childish name-calling? And this is coming from our media and we wonder why our nation appears to be “dumbing down.”

I am ashamed and saddened by all of it. Miss California gave her honest feelings.  Why can’t she be accepted for that and that alone?  How Perez Hilton comes off of this still appearing acceptable in his outburst is pretty amazing. His use of filthy name calling apparently is his dialogue.   One would say if that’s the best you can do, you aren’t very intelligent. But it doesn’t matter.  Not in a world gone wrong.

I was also sad to see that someone is not able to be allowed to voice their oppinion without worry of reprecussions. And if you dont agree with it ” perez Hilton ” you are labeled a dumb “b” not going to use the word or like N.O.W. labeled her stating that it would have been better if she had a brain instead of breast implants she would be better off. Just makes me mad.

Perez Hilton looks intelligent to no one, least of all “real” Americans. He’s just portrayed as such by a willing media eager to destroy someone who dares think something other than that which it has deemed appropriate. With apologies to Rush Limbaugh, it’s not the drive by media, it’s the Gestapo media.
