Herman on the Road
Herman had a busy travel week once again. He went to Washington, DC, to stand with those who supported the critical Cut, Cap, Balance measure to return our federal government to fiscal sanity. He also spoke at the First Financial conference in Reno, Nevada; the Pottawattamie County Fair in Council Bluffs, Iowa; and at the Smart Girl Politics Summit in St. Louis, Missouri.. He planned to speak at a picnic in Ohio, but mechanical problems on an airplane dictated that greeting to be addressed via Skype from an airfield in Nebraska. Thanks to the 800 enthusiastic attendees for understanding and helping it to be a great event, in spite of the last minute challenges!
To find out where Herman will be traveling this week, check out his weekly public schedule.
We’ve had yet another great week in polling! For the 10th consecutive week, Herman placed first in Gallup’s “positive intensity ranking.” In fact, Gallup included additional options, even some whom aren’t declared candidates! This is a sign of our growing momentum and Herman’s message resonating across the country. Additionally, Herman’s overall favorability is an incredible 77 percent! Check out the Gallup numbers here.
Another prestigious polling agency, Zogby, showed that Herman holds second place among declared GOP presidential candidates. When Zogby included two undeclared candidates, he tied for third. Check out the Zogby results here.
As mentioned, Herman attended the Smart Girl Politics Summit in St. Louis, Missouri. He placed second in their presidential straw poll. Add this victory to the already long list of wins from GOP and grassroots straw polls. Check out the full results from the summit.

Iowa Bus Tour – We Need Your Help!
We are about to embark on Herman’s “Common Sense Solutions” bus tour throughout the great state of Iowa, leading up to the FOX News debate and the Ames straw poll. We will visit nearly 20 cities, attend fantastic events, and revisit dear friends we’ve made after 25 visits to the state.
In order to make this bus tour a success, we urgently need your help. Please consider giving any of the following amounts to help us spread Herman’s message throughout Iowa!
- $550 buys one tank of gas for the bus as we travel through Iowa.
- $300 buys 10 tickets for supporters to cast their votes for Herman in the Ames straw poll.
$30 buys a ticket for one supporter to cast his or her vote for Herman in the Ames straw poll.
- $30 buys a t-shirt for a supporter to proudly wear during the Ames festivities.
- $5 buys a button for a supporter to proudly wear OR a sign to wave during the Ames festivities.
And your most generous gift of $2,500, $1,763 (a dollar for each mile we drive), $1,000 or $500 would really boost our efforts in the critical state of Iowa.
Our country is at a crossroads. We can continue down the path laid out for us by career politicians and Washington insiders…
We can correct the course with common sense solutions tested and proven by the years of experience of a real leader. That real leader is Herman Cain. Tell Iowans you think so.
