Rick Perry, A Texan. George Bush. Pseudo Texan
The contenders for the Republican nomination for President were in the spotlight at the Iowa GOP Debate, everyone eyes last night was on Iowa but their minds kept wondering to Texas Governor Rick Perry. What is he going to say on Saturday? Will he or won’t he, the question was asked by Bret Baier of the candidates. 100 percent chance that white Stetson will go into the Presidential ring. It’s been bought up since Perry is from Texas and since Bush left office in a negative light Americans may not be ready to elect another Texan President· To set the record straight President George H.W. Bush nor President George W. Bush were TEXANS. They were born in Yankee land and migrated to Texas. Yankee’s think different than a true born and breed Texan, best way to splain it is…You’re not from Texas…You were born in Texas and to be a Texan is a State of Mind.. A Yankee can never achieve a Texan state of mind..

By the President of the United States of America
A Proclamation
Every Memorial Day, Americans remember the debt of gratitude we owe to our veterans who gave their lives for our country. On this important day, communities across our Nation stop to remember and to honor the great sacrifices made by our men and women in uniform.
Since its beginnings, our country has faced many threats that have tested its courage. From war-torn battlefields and jungle skirmishes to conflicts at sea and air attacks, generations of brave men and women have fought and died to defeat tyranny and protect our democracy. Their sacrifices have made this Nation strong and our world a better place.
Upwards of 48 million Americans have served the cause of freedom and more than a million have died to preserve our liberty. We also remember the more than 140,000 who were taken prisoner-of-war and the many others who were never accounted for. These memories remind us that the cost of war and the price of peace are great.

Politico reported that Karl Rove former advisor to George W. Bush spoke Wednesday Feb 16, 2011 on Fox News and said that the rumors created by the Birther’s are discrediting the GOP.
Rove said that, “Within our party, we’ve got to be very careful about allowing these people who are the birthers and the 9/11-deniers to get too high a profile and say too much without setting the record straight, We need the leaders of our party to say, Look, stop falling into the trap of the White House and focus on the real issues. Spending time and energy on — and getting media attention for — comments about where the president was born is a distraction that discredits the lawmakers and candidates making the remarks.”

One of the more endearing qualities of the liberals is their unending megalomania. The last two liberals who managed to acquire the presidency (one with the help of Ross Perot, the other with the help of ACORN) have unquestionably put the “mega” in megalomania. Liberal presidents never seem to go away and ol’ Billy Bob is certainly no exception. With Clinton, his obsession with attention certainly borders upon an illness. Even though we do not know the clinical name for his malaise, let’s just call him “Sick Willie” from now on.

President Obama’s show of anger with AIG for giving out bonus money to its top execs has raised the ire of the nation, and in AIG it has started an open rebellion. America may have a lot of enemies, but AIG would hardly make the top ten list of real bad guys. What’s the spin?
The Washington Post is reporting “a mob effect” inside AIG. The Post said “A tidal wave of public outrage over bonus payments swamped American International Group yesterday. Hired guards stood watch outside the suburban Connecticut offices of AIG Financial Products, the division whose exotic derivatives brought the insurance giant to the brink of collapse last year. Inside, death threats and angry letters flooded e-mail inboxes. Irate callers lit up the phone lines. Senior managers submitted their resignations. Some employees didn’t show up at all.”
