Americans have dealt with the arrogance of power before. From 1756 through 1763 a world war ravaged the globe from India to Europe and from the farthest reaches of the Pacific Ocean to the deepest woods of Ohio. England and France fought to see who would become the greatest colonial power.
For seven years, battles raged throughout the Colonies as the French and their Indian allies pushed the Americans back across the Allegheny Mountains and sought to over-run the fertile area from the mountains to the coast which held the majority of English settlements. After many massacres and defeats the American Militias, with a core of British officers and supplies, were able to not only repulse the enemy but follow them home to Canada. Known as the French and Indian War in America and as the Seven Years War in Europe when the final treaties were signed in 1763, with the lone exception of Florida, England became the master of North America east of the Mississippi.

As the socialist smoke and the fascist fog have finally cleared from the “silly summit” which could have just as easily been held at your local Chuck E. Cheese, the liberal “leaders” are all out doing their best “Bolshevik Buck and Wing” in public. All of their “leaders,” except for Howard “cuckoo for Cocoa Puffs” Dean who is still shackled to the wall in Pelosi’s parlor. You will note the lack of enthusiasm from the run-of-the-mill liberal office holder who has to contend with this liberal leprosy. Their silence is more telling than the liberal “leaders” and their dystrophic dance of dementia.
First out of the box was the Bolshevik biddy, and she picked up wrong (not “right”) where she left off. Feverishly paddling her collectivist canoe down “denial,” she believes that the “historic health care drive was closer to passage.” Such childish progressive projection may impress the lemmings back in Frisco, but it isn’t having any effect upon the actual victims of the Obama nonsense. Dead Ted might just as well be behind the wheel of this “historic drive” analogy because this “drive” will murder the middle class and it will drown the economy.

Our legislators and their fearless leader worked a brutal (for them) schedule over the holidays trying to address the number one issue in America. So how’d they do?

The Oministration’s attempt to silence dissent is chilling. The San Francisco limonene-liberals led by the multi-millionaire Nancy Pelosi claim the protesters are carrying swastikas clearly trying to label them Nazis without being so crass as to use the word. Do you think if there were pictures of any of these protestors carrying Nazi flags the Poodle Press would’ve missed the chance to loop it continuously? The only demonstrator shown with a swastika was a person with a sign that showed one in a red circle with a line through it, which everyone knows is the international symbol for “No.” And in this instance for “No Thanks. You can take these tactics back to the union hall or city hall, but not in my country you don’t.”
The man who has a million-dollar fund-raiser headlined by the Commander-O-Chief when he has no opponent refuses to hold a public meeting to discuss Obamacare saying those citizens voicing their concern over the greatest power-grab in American history have run out of ideas and lost their manners. Mr. Reid, perhaps the long suffering, long silent American citizens have been inspired by this progressive revolution to turn off the tube, get off the couch and demand their elected representatives listen to them.

Reminiscent of the fall of Rome, Congressional seats may soon be harder to give away rather than raising a fortune to gain. In fairness it would be hard to prove the Congress has a clue, but the real question is what are they going to do now that the rest of America is starting to get a clue?
The clues are starting to come in at an alarming rate because many Americans are sitting down and actually reading the bills the congress doesn’t seem to have time to study. The stimulus, healthcare, and hate crimes read like a cross between a child’s fairy tale and the dark musings of Jean Paul Sartre. Proposals that bounce between the silly and the frightening may hold our interest but what do they do to preserve the American way of life, our founding principles or the Constitution itself?
