Artist Andy Warhol’s assertion that everyone will have at least fifteen minutes of fame in their lifetime seems to have gripped this generation at the heart. Is it proof that talent has abounded in this special generation or that being like the stars is the only way to verify an otherwise insignificant existence?
I happened upon a crowd of people some years ago who were gathering by the hundreds in New Orleans famous tourist area known as the Riverwalk Marketplace. They were there to audition for American Idol and in only a few minutes the crowd of wannabes swelled to perhaps a thousand or more. The air was filled with expectation, bustle and electricity even as eyes sparkled with hope and boundless anticipation. I have pondered the sight endlessly since then and I have followed the meteoric rise of the American Idol television production.

‘ You will never be forgotten nor will you ever be abandoned ‘ - anonymous

The Vietnam war film that Hollywood never really wanted you to see!
‘ Your support of these selfless warriors reflects the best of the American Spirit and I am grateful for your compassionate work.
I appreciate your sons service to our nation and am proud to have been his Commander in Chief. ‘ George W. Bush . .
‘ Our nation is fortunate to have patriots like Jack Marino and John Lebert who had the courage to create Forgotten Heroes as a thank you for all of the Vietnam heroes who paid the ultimate price with their lives; and for the Veterans who came back. Welcome home Brothers; we welcome you home.’
Brigadier General (CA, Retired) Ronald Flynn, 7th Cavalry, Vietnam 1966
Brought to you by: Jack Marino – Starring William Smith as General Gregori Zelenkov
Apocalypse Now has the big movie stars. Platoon has the budget. Full Metal Jacket has Kubrick; but Forgotten Heroes has the truth. When history does what history always does best and shakes itself loose of the blistering lies told of and about America’s involvement in Vietnam, it will be Jack Marino’s Forgotten Heroes that’s first acquitted. – Review by: John Nolte

Is leftism rising to the defense of evil even as it sinks to the depths of hell? Perhaps this question would have made a better title for this article, but why scare readers away with what may only be construed as a preacher’s pious platitudes?
America is busy with economic problems, the war in Afghanistan and healthcare issues; who’s got time for questions of morality or theological issues? Apparently no one! While all the current issues are worthy of our attention, isn’t it odd that we tend to dismiss the very issue that we ultimately ignore at the price of our own peril?
The CBS News Crimesider reported on October 5, 2009 that Roman Polanski, the accused child rapist, agreed to pay to make it go away. “15 years after he fled the United States, film director — and child rapist — Roman Polanski agreed to pay his sexual assault victim $500,000 to settle a lawsuit, according to court documents.”

Blame for Dr. Tiller’s murder is flying around like the sands of a Mojave dust storm most of it is hyper and unreasonable and it is begging for some legitimate balance. Is there any?
In our system of law as it pertains to capital crimes unless there is a conspiracy there is no guilt by association. Conversely there is also no innocence by association. Christian leaders and conservative citizens in general have jumped at the chance to label Mr. Roeder a vigilante a monster and things far worse.

Skilled statisticians like George Barna and carefully researched studies from the Pew Reports all show a declining moral climate and a gradual but alarming number of youthful exits from the church in America. Is it chronic, should we be worried?
Any writer, preacher, prophet or ordinary live-a-day Christian worth his or her salt is calling for America to come to her senses and return to the faith of our fathers. They are not moved by the rhetoric of socialisms priest and preachers whether found in academia, media, Hollywood or political office. They are driven by the proof shown to them in the fruit of America’s past, but they are not merely driven by common nostalgia.
