The Anti-Defamation League and the Government of Mexico have filed separate lawsuits against the State of Arizona over it’s new immigration law which will take affect July 29. Lawyers representing Mexico filled a brief supporting the law suit which was brought of by the ACLU which they are taking to Federal Court claiming that the law violates the U.S. Constitution. The document put out by the Government of Mexico states that the law threatens “the human and civil rights of its citizens when they are present in Arizona.” Mexican President Felipe Calderon has condemned the bill, stating it “opens the door to intolerance, hate, discrimination and abuse in law enforcement.”

While the Government of Mexico is outraged about Arizona its own immigration laws are far harsher than Arizona’s. While Arizona’s calls for the arrest and deportation of illegal immigrants under Mexican Law entering the country illegally is punishable by up to two years in prison and an attempted re-entry by up to 10 years. Those who violate their visas can be sentenced to up to six years and the government of Mexico has the authority to arrest foreigners whom it deems as a threat to its national and economic interest.

Let’s be clear.  Securing the border and dealing with mass illegal immigration are separate issues — RELATED, but separate.  Our borders need to be secured for national security reasons.  But we need to deal with the illegal immigrants on a whole other level, an ECONOMIC one.

Living on the “front lines” of the immigration debate, in the great state of Arizona, I am confronted with the amnesty versus deportation question often.  I am absolutely, 100% AGAINST AMNESTY.

When I say this I get two questions:  1) what about the KIDS?  and 2) Who will do the work?

I’ve often puzzled over why many of my Naturalized American friends, with clearly traditional Conservative values, gravitate to Liberalism and the Democrat party. Here they are in America, exactly because they had to “escape” their former government’s dangerously oppressive policies and behaviors.  Remarkably, they seem to overlook the fact that the Liberals/Democrats in America act increasingly like the tyrants, ego-maniacs, dictators, and cowardly thugs back home.

Fortunately, my foreign-born friends are beginning to question the “big government” threat, that now resides in Washington.  Don’t get confused here.  These thoughts apply to American Citizens that have come to America from another country, completed the Naturalization process and pledged allegience to the United States.  It doesn’t apply to aliens that in the United States illegally.  If you are a Liberal reading this story, I suppose you should include your intergalactic friends, in this category, as well.

I just got finished reading Mexico’s Immigration laws.   Jail was mentioned more than a few times. Their law has to be one of the harshest I have ever seen. When comparing our law to theirs, we are letting people slide. Yet Mexico’s President, Calderon comes here to put down the United States and our leaders, and Obama’s followers clap along side of him, while Calderon is mouthing off about our law. What I see is one very harsh bill from Mexico and one very fair one from these United States. How did this get turned on us? Any ideas?

I think to myself, how is this possible? Is it me, or do I detect that our own are not on America’s side? I don’t think it’s me. It’s too transparent. I have seen this all during the campaign.

In yet another of the never-ending series of fascist farces, Obama had Mexican president Felipe Calderon over at the Slight House to confab about this and that. “This” was the horrible law enacted over the “epidemic” of ILLEGAL immigration. “That” was both “governments” “commitment to securing the border.” Please note that Obama has done about as much about both of the problems coming from Mexico’s way, the ILLEGALS and the oil slick. To whit, nothing. Funny how the only “epidemics” that Obama has ever talked of are the completely imaginary ones. For example, the fabulous fictions of global warming and H1N1 are nothing compared to the genuine epidemic of ILLEGAL immigration.

The title of an article relative to this topic is fascinating, “President Obama Walks Political Tightrope On Immigration” (Fox News) The funny thing about tightropes is that when the disingenuous Democrats are the ones dancing and doing the high-wire stunts, these ropes have a tendency to snap and to then reposition themselves around the necks of the totalitarian trapeze “artists.” The Obama support for the ILLEGAL aliens certainly qualifies as another in his series of political “walking the plank,” not the tightrope.

Paging Tom Tancredo, paging Tom Tancredo. We need you! This is one passionate man who should have had Janet Napolitano’s position of Homeland Security. But he’s not liberal. No job for you, Tom. We need protection, and I will say I am very proud of Arizona’s governor for taking the law—yes it is a law—and applying it. Thank you, Governor Brewer. I live in Arizona and can testify that there are no jobs, and I see illegals running across the highway. I see the news of illegals’ criminal activity. I am not saying they all are drug smugglers or gang members, but they are criminals and are breaking the law.

Every intelligent person should know this law and be fine with it. The fact that it has to be spelled out scares me. The fact that our own President and the progressives still haven’t read it but naturally disagree with it upsets me.

The “Reverend” Al Sharpton, Danny “Chavez” Glover and I would imagine other trouble makers, wanted to meet at a Baptist Church with the Mayor of Phoenix, who happens to be Jewish. Many of us emailed and called, advising him not to bother with these troublemakers. How anyone could have trouble with a bill that is already a law and specifically calls for NO racial profiling is beyond me. Our President, who appears to disagree with everything us regular Americans want, is getting old and tiresome.

Just as quickly as Obama reacted to the oil spill in the Gulf Of Mexico, the “White House” has finally gotten around to calling the attempt in Times Square “terrorism.” Since this wasn’t another opportunity for another totalitarian takeover of another formerly capitalistic enterprise, there was no need whatsoever to hurry on Obama’s part.

As of late, our latest terrorist is being called, “Pakistani-born U.S. citizen Faisal Shahzad.” (Times Square Car Bomb Suspect Faces Terrorism Charges After Admitting Plot” Fox News) Even the idea of “U.S. citizenship” has been cheapened under the Obama administration as yet another hyphenated Turd World misfit has been given carte blanche by the liberals, in this case back in April of 2009, to plot, to plan and to execute right in our own back yard. It seems as though the “promote the common defence” part of the preamble to the Constitution has been lost upon the leftists. I will add that the “provide for the general Welfare” part HASN’T been lost upon them.

Now that Arizona has done the “right” thing, I am imploring the rest of the contiguous forty-eight states to sign on and to do likewise immediately. If not, all that will be taking place from this point on will be “shuffling the deck.”

Several intangibles are falling into place and one of the lock tight cinches among them is the fact that the ILLEGALS will now become sort of “nomadic” as they will soon begin “bugging out” of Arizona. The good news is that some of the ILLEGALS will be “repatriating” themselves back “home.” The BAD news is that a much greater percentage of them will just move East, West, North or even South in order to stay attached to the benevolent ATM machine that is America.
