10 Questions for Rick Santorum: An Exclusive Interview

Friday, January 8th, 2010

Santorum2ALL RIGHT MAGAZINE:  Senator Santorum, you spearhead what’s called the Ethics and Public Policy Center’s Program Protect America’s Freedom.   At this moment what is the biggest threat to America’s freedom, and what action should we take against it?

SENATOR SANTORUM: The biggest threat to our nation’s security is the war against radical Islam.  Since 9/11/01, I have said that we need to accurately identify our enemy so that we can effectively defeat it.  The radical Islamists who are hell bent on destroying our way of life and prosperity aren’t just simply terrorists – terror is a tactic – they are an
ideological enemy who will use their own people as weapons.

I also believe that a nuclear-armed Iran and its rogue president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is an enormous threat to our nation’s security.  However, one bright spot is Iran’s Green Revolution. It continues to grow and could lead Iran into a revolution that may end Ahmadinejad’s reign.

Iran: Twitter Versus the Bomb

“In the last year, two things have happened,” Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu told the Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee last Monday. “Iran has advanced its military nuclear program, and Iran has lost its legitimacy in the eyes of the international community.”

The Iranian regime means business. The Knesset’s Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee was also told it has now enriched 1,800 kg of uranium – enough for one-and-a-half nuclear bombs. Yet despite serious and widespread concern over its nuclear ambitions, Tehran announced last month that it plans to build ten new sites for further uranium enrichment.

It was, of course, the re-election of Ahmadinejad – widely regarded as fraudulent – and the regime’s violent crackdown of pro-democracy demonstrators in June that cost it its remaining semblance of legitimacy, not the nuclear issue. This, and President Obama’s public and private overtures to Tehran over the last few months, have overshadowed the pro-democracy movement, but they are not separate from one another.

Daletoon of the Day: Enriched Iranium

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

Between the cat-and-mouse and the cloak-and-dagger, the nuclear shell game in Iran grows more and more dangerous with each passing moment.  No one has been able to say definitively that Iran is attempting to build “the bomb.”  Until now.  All Right Magazine has uncovered irrefutable truth that Ahmadinejad is going green in the worst way possible.

Iran: Next Steps Or Next Missteps?

In what can be considered a stunning turn of events, it is “no longer a secret” that Iran has a second uranium enrichment plant. This information was made available to the public right before the beginning of the G-20 conference today. Now that this “information” has been made public, it will be very interesting to see what is done with it or better yet, who will actually do something about it as opposed to just talking to hear themselves speak.

In “Iran Reveals Existence of Second Uranium Enrichment Plant” (Washington Post) we read that “Obama will call attention to the existence of the underground facility.” Whatever. The only thing that concerns Obama is “calling attention” to himself. What is of much greater importance is what are you going to do about it?

Holding yet another yawner of a press conference with a furrowed brow and a Bill Clinton inspired wagging finger merely reinforces the weakened posture of the United States. The last thing that we need is another liberal hot air strikes or one of their patented solipsistic sorties. Obama and those of his ilk have enabled such “activities” by the world’s totalitarian tyrants to take place because for generations, they have worked feverishly to remove the “or else” from the “diplomatic discussions.”

Early morning sunlight flashed in Bill’s face, which wrinkled in irritation. He rolled on his back, leaving the worst of the light on his shoulder but too late; the sun had done its job. He was awake. He lay there for another minute or two but finally caved in to the inevitable, threw the heavy blankets aside and sat up, dropping his feet to the floor.

Brr. Freezing. He got up, the chill starting to sink in, and looked at his thermostat. 60 degrees. *SIGH* It was on days like this that he missed being able to set his temperature as he liked it instead of having a federally regulated thermostat set it for him. He knew a couple of tech-savvy guys who had hacked theirs and set it so that they were comfortable. Later they said it was almost worth the huge fine they had to pay and almost worth the public shaming. Almost. Bill had a sneaking admiration for them but realized, of course that carbon crimes were no small matter.

Angry Prez Gives Cambridge Cops the Old One-Two-Three

gates

By Rev. MICHAEL BRESCIANI

According to Boston.com July 23, 2009, the President is ‘surprised’ by the controversy surrounding his remark that the Cambridge police acted ‘stupidly’ in the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. No one could be more surprised at the president’s choice of words than the rest of us.

The President is among other things the chief law enforcement official in the land. It is un-nerving if not completely mind boggling to hear him refer to the actions of a police department as ‘stupid.’ Even if their actions were completely asinine couldn’t we expect a little more self control and reserve from the top law enforcement official in the nation?

While news sources are getting to the facts of the matter as time goes on, no one has yet remarked on the general demeanor of the President as he addressed the incident at his press conference. There was clearly an angry tone and angry rhetoric in use at the press meet, but it is far from the first time.

lucifer

By PAUL SCHNEE

In his “INFERNO” Dante wisely reserved the most scalding corners of Hell for those who, in a moral dilemma, tried to remain impartial. If Barack Obama had been a character in Dante’s Divine Comedy we would have known exactly where to find him. You will recall that when Russia invaded Georgia, during our election, the best Obama could do was to issue a statement saying “both sides should show restraint” thus drawing a moral equivalency between the attacker and the attacked. The inability to distinguish between the arsonist and the fire-fighter is a hallmark of the appeaser. Those of us who are unable to remain impartial between the fire and the fire department believe that a firm and immediate statement of moral support saying that the United States, as a beacon of freedom and democracy, stands with the Iranian people in their desire for fair elections, civil liberties, and the rule of law, should have been issued at once. This would not have smeared their protests with the “taint” of Americanism which so concerns the reluctant champions of democracy. Such a declaration of solidarity may seem a bit like stating the obvious but it is akin to “Give me liberty or give me death”. It has the salutory effect of stiffening the spine and focusing attention on freedom from tyranny.

Shame On You, Mr. President

Graphic video of an Iranian woman being shot dead while watching the Iran protests with her father is sweeping the net. While Iran state media is doing its best to put a muzzle on foreign media reporting on the violent revolution unfolding in Iran, American media is under no such constraints. Americans are treated to the news that Obama is eating an ice cream cone.

As news of 20 deaths so far between protestors and police in the streets of Tehran is reported by Iran’s state media, American media reports that Hillary Clinton is recovering from surgery on her elbow. Though the surgery has been described as minor, it has apparently left Hillary without a voice, as no statement has been forthcoming from our Secretary of State about the millions of Iranians who are risking death to protest their oppression by a tyrannical government.

Peaceful Aspirations

Saturday, June 6th, 2009

iranBy LARRY WILKE

According to the Washington Post, (”Obama says Iran’s energy concerns legitimate”) our “Peerless Leader” has now said that Iran has “some right to nuclear energy.” Here is the important part: “provided it takes steps to prove its aspirations are peaceful.” Mr. “No Details” also left out the MOST IMPORTANT part: What is he willing to do to ASSURE that these “aspirations” are “peaceful” other than TAKING THEIR WORD FOR IT.

During the BBC interview, which was broadcast on June 2nd, Obama even in his own words continued his tradition of speaking “without going into specifics.” NOTHING demands the need for specificity MORE than the terrorist greenhouse of Iran and it’s “nudge, nudge, wink, wink.” nuclear “energy” aspirations.

Daletoon of the Day: Obama’s Latest Admirer

Monday, May 4th, 2009

By DALE

One of the cornersotnes of the Obama administration is a continual worldwide apology tour.  The great object for which this policy was formed is to make the leaders of other nations around the globe like America, again — if they ever liked America.  Lo and behold the policy is working, and the results are surprising.  See exclusive coverage of Obama’s latest convert here.
