Neil Barofsky has probably been taken off of the Obama Kwanzaa card list for 2010 and beyond. Barofsky, who has been tasked with overseeing the TARP “bailout” funds, of late has been as invisible as Veep Biden who was left in charge of the “stimulus” and Rodham who was left in charge of buckets and mops. This unexcused absence came to an abrupt end as Barofsky has released a quarterly report that paints the Obama progressive pogroms in a curt black and white with only a few shades of gray.

Barofsky’s report which was highlighted in “TARP cop: Some Bailout Goals Still Unmet”, (fox news) said that “policymakers still have not addressed fundamental problems that triggered the financial crisis.” There are a few choice amorphous words in that last sentence which I will attempt to clarify.

When it comes to the Monopoly money mentality being utilized by BHO/FDR since his beatification, the idea of “accountability” has been completely jettisoned in favor of “action.”

The liberals love to leap into action without both critical thinking and the fear of consequence for two reasons. If they manage to stumble into what they consider to be “success,” they can call themselves geniuses and fellow liberals can then award them undeserved Peace Prizes, Oscars and such. When their socialism inevitably fails or extends the misery that they claim they are trying to alleviate, they can just say that they “inherited this mess.”

That sound that you hear is the free market struggling and suffocating beneath the liberal travesty of TARP. What you don’t know is that TARP is actually an acronym for Totalitarians Against Real Progress. Even those tasked with overseeing the liberal lunacy eventually let the fallacies and the fantasies of the failed Demokratic logic slip when cornered in public. When it comes to the ridiculous sums handed out by the moronic money changers of the left, Neil Barofsky, who goes by the amorphous un-elected title of “Special Treasury Department Inspector General,” said that “It’s too early to say how much will be repaid to the taxpayers.” There is always a “transparent” lack of concern when money that came from middle class “taxpayers” is on the line.

If a man continually shouted “Fire!” in a crowded theatre, panicking its occupants, causing a stampede for the exits resulting in many injuries and deaths, he would be arrested and prosecuted, but this is exactly what our mortician-in-chief, Barack Obama, has been doing with impunity ever since he took office. So far, he and his administration have proven to be fundamentally dishonest not only in their shrill and exaggerated description of our national condition but also in how they have described and characterized the remedies they intend to apply in order to save us.

The salient fact is that the “stimulus” bill and the “omnibus” bill and almost everything else coming out of the White House is a cover for the massive expansion of government moving us closer and much faster to the model of a European socialist country, and he is using fear, exaggeration, and the ensuing panic to accomplish it. His extreme socialist agenda is much more dear to his heart than rescuing our economy. Understand that and you will be able to grasp why the thugocracy at ACORN, an organization that is currently under 14 federal indictments for voter fraud in the last election, has been rewarded with around $4 billion in earmarks and why our airports have only been awarded $1 billion for improvements. Understand that and you will be able to grasp that his policies defy common sense and attempt to contradict the laws of economics let alone past fiscal experience and practice.
