Top Conservative Party members have donated thousands of pounds to an organization that has hosted speakers known for their hard line Islamic views.

In August, and Lord Sheikh, chairman of the Conservative Muslim Forum (CMF), and Mohammed Amin, the CMF’s vice chairman, attended the launch of Iqra TV, founded by Al-Khair. According to the CMF website, after he had had made a presentation, Lord Sheikh gave a check for 5,000 pounds (approximately 8,000 US dollars) to Al-Khair for the establishment a library. Al-Khair runs Islamic schools (in Britain and Kashmir), a prison outreach program, and hosts speaking and cultural events, including some that are “interfaith.”

Geert Wilders: On Trial for Having an Opinion

A few years ago Britain’s Channel 4 TV broadcast a documentary exposing a number of hate preachers. These were shown variously praising Osama bin Laden, denouncing non-Muslims, or “kuffar,” calling women “deficient,” and inciting violence, including the murder of Jews and homosexuals. Much of what was said, and broadcast in Undercover Mosque, was patently illegal under British law. Instead of acting against the preachers, the police filed a complaint against the filmmakers, who they accused of taking things “out of context” – it’s just that easy to do, when imams call for murder, apparently.

If no one has told you this yet, let me be the first; as you get older time goes faster.  If you’re under thirty you’re thinking, “This old coot has finally gone off his rocker!  Everyone knows an hour is an hour.  So how can time go faster as you get older?”  If you’re between thirty and forty you’re thinking, “Who’s got time to think about time, and who cares?   I’ve got to go to work!”  If you’re between forty and sixty you’re thinking, “He might have something there” as you day-dream about those endless summers when you were in High School.  If you’re over sixty, you’re hoping time doesn’t end before you finish reading this paragraph.

A few days ago on ABC the parsimonious Jimmy Carter confirmed just how tenuous his grip on reality has become with each passing year when he told Brian Williams “…..an overwhelming portion of the intensely demonstrated animosity toward President Barack Obama is based on the fact that he is a black man, that he’s African-American” and “that African-Americans are not qualified to lead this great country…”

This is an enormous and dreadful slander against the majority of Americans.The animosity towards Obama is because of his constant deceit and awful, destructive, policies not because of the pigmentation of his skin or the woeful circumstances of his paternity about which most Americans are indifferent. Many of those who voted for Obama are now coming out of the ether and are opposing his policies. Is this because they have just discovered that he is black?

The “lets-stick-our-weenie-in-every-campfire” liberals have now decided to overhaul, or to phrase it more appropriately for the leftists: “takeover,” the Army Field Manual’s interrogation guidelines. In short, the liberals think that the terrorists will “talk” if they lay like spoons with them after a cup of warm cocoa and a viewing of “Fried Green Tomatoes” with the appropriate lighting for the mood. This Swiss watch of an idea will certainly make America safer.

When the “allegations” start flying, the liberals love to spring into action. Desperate at this point to take ANY attention away from their intentional destruction of the economy and their “hope” of destroying health care, Obama is siccing Attorney general Eric Holder over the “alleged prisoner abuse under the Bush administration.” (”Obama Administration Urged to Consider Expanded Interrogation Methods” Fox News) I would prefer that Holder concentrate on the palpable abuse of the American capitalist system and the formerly free market by his boss and his minions.

The outrageous, repulsive, and sickening decision of the Scottish government to release al-Megrahi from prison where he was serving a 27 year sentence for his part in the murder of 270 people on PanAm Flight 103 has plunged a dagger into the heart of those who fight against terrorists. Barack Obama has described this gross miscarriage of justice and wanton subversion of the rule of law as a “mistake”.

I want to be a liberal, because then everyone will like me. My family will start talking to me again, and chances are, my ex-husband will want to renew the marriage vows he broke when I started spouting conservative opinions.

I’d like to be a liberal because its ever so much easier to allow others to form my opinions for me instead of researching an issue myself. That always gets me in trouble, especially when the facts I discover diverge from the latest politically correct consensus.

I’d like to be a liberal because then I’d be rewarded for all my shortcomings and nothing would ever be my fault. I’d be an important cog in the wheel of social justice, and a cherished warrior in the current fight for equality.
