Barack Obama’s plan to address school children K-12 has raised a furor among millions of parents in the nation. But so far the only reason given for the stir it has caused is that Americans don’t want politics in the classroom. Are there other reasons and what are they?

Reactions run the gamut but more typically hang on the one of two poles. Those against it generally agree it is not very timely in the light of recent controversies over health care. Those who think it’s as normal as apple pie say it is about staying in school and the promise of what a better education affords. Both of these answers are but the tip of the iceberg.

Lost between the liberal cracks of deceit and diversion last week was the revelation that the Obama administration will be raising the ten year deficit outlook from their admitted seven trillion dollar total to nearly ten trillion dollars. The mathematical dynamics and technicalities that have always alluded the Obama liberals right around tax time invariably confuses them when it comes to accepting the damage that they have done to the nation with their Marxist meddling.

The oily and evasive liberals are hard to pin down when it comes to their numerical insufficiencies. Back in April of this year, Depressed Secretary Robert “Chuckles” Gibbs said that, “Only in Washington, D.C. is one hundred million (dollars) not a lot of money. It is where I come from. It is where I grew up.” That being the case, where does goofy Gibbs stand on a monetary difference of at least two TRILLION dollars? (That’s just the difference between the perpetually spiraling Obama deficits, that’s not counting the TWENTY times larger deficit of Obama versus Bush.) Such fiscal discrepancies should have Massachusetts Representative Barney Frank asking Gibbs, “On what planet do you spend most of your time?”
